About Margo North

Margo North is a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC),and Master Practitioner of Counselling Psychology(MPCP)registered with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. #1989 as well as the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists. #1091
She received her training through the Counsellor Training Institute of Canada and has taken additional training through Dalhousie School of Social Work and other accredited Organizations and Associations. She continues to pursue professional development by attending workshops, seminars and conferences that are relevant and of value to her clients.
She is also a volunteer with Halifax Regional Police Victim Services On-scene Mobile Response Unit, offering support and resources to victims of domestic violence ,sudden death grief support ,suicide intervention, crisis intervention other crimes or trauma.

Margo is an integrative counselling therapist which means that she draws from more than one psychotherapeutic school of thought.

Margo is President of the Atlantic Chapter of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association.
