Billing Policy

Sessions and Fees:

Our hourly fee is $75.00 per office visit and $95.00 for in-home counselling (with a Professional referral only).
Counselling sessions are approximately 1 hour with the exception of the first session which is usually 90 minutes. The additional 30 minutes is free!

Coverage:

Counselling services are not covered by MSI.
However, some Employee Assistance Programs and Group Insurance Plans may provide coverage for our services. An official receipt will be given to you at the end of the session for submission to your Insurance provider.

Payment Policy:

Clients are required to pay their fees at the end of each session unless referred by an Employee Assistance Program.Cash only please unless otherwise agreed upon with your Counsellor. A receipt will be issued upon payment.

Other Charges:

Other charges will be applied for client services outside the counselling sessions. These may include such services as: Telephone consultations with the client or other professionals, emails,letters and other reports relevant to the client's therapy.
Meetings and conferences on behalf of the client(s)
Travelling time to and from destinations.

Late Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policies:

Your appointment times are set aside for your sessions and are exclusive to you. Please give 24 hours notice if you must cancel. After the first short notice cancellation you will be charged for the missed appointment. You may cancel your appointment by phone or email. Clients who miss their appointments will be charged the usual hourly fee; the invoice will indicate this with the words "Missed Session."
