It may be an appropriate time to seek help if you are experiencing any of the following:

• Persistent worry
• Prolonged sadness
• Feeling depressed, lethargic
• Thoughts of suicide or wanting to harm yourself or someone else
• Inappropriate mood swings, angry outbursts or crying for no apparent reason
Friends and family can offer invaluable comfort and support, but only trained counsellors can offer proven therapeutic techniques that are designed to help you identify and change problem areas and aid you in becoming happy and healthy. You are worth it!
What will people think if they find out I am receiving therapy?
It's natural to feel a little apprehensive about the possibility of being labeled. We cannot control what others think, feel, say or do but we can control how we react to them. A healthy person chooses to seek help. Many professional people including Therapists, Counsellors, police officers, firefighters, lawyers and CEO's seek counselling to help them cope with work-related and personal issues. The time and effort you put into your sessions can empower you to have a happier life!
