Referrals come in two manners:

• Self-referral
• Professional referral

Self-Referral

You can contact us by sending an email to anyone of the counsellors. Their emails are found on our Contact page. Be sure to include your telephone number so that we can contact you and if it's okay to leave a message if you're not there.

If you don't like sending an email and prefer to talk to someone, contact any of the counsellors at the phone numbers also located on our Contact page.

If you are in crisis, call us.

Professional Referral

Your family doctor or other health professional can refer you to us if they determine you would benefit from counselling. Please discuss counselling with your physician. Depending on the reason for the referral we will ask you to sign a Release of Information Form so that we may ask your physician to forward only the medical information to us related to your presenting problem.

You can also be referred by other professionals such as social workers or attorneys. Again, depending on the basis of the referral we may ask you to sign a Release of Information Form so that we can access only the information pertinent to the referral.
